Live!

Monday, July 24th, 2006

Ah… LIFE! It’s so beautiful, isn’t it?

Won’t it be just right to feel it and be alive?

After all, it is the greatest gift.

Indeed life is a gift…

And gifts are treasured

Gifts are cherished

Gifts are loved. And when you are in love

You feel right, You feel good

So good, it seems like nothing else matters!

Why frown when you can smile

Why worry when somebody cares

So, live to feel… Care to live

Not just by being there… but wanting

Not just wait… but lead

Not just receive… but give

And not just exist… but LIVE!

Inexplicable ( i love saying it ! )

Monday, July 17th, 2006

Early this morning, when i sat on the computer to view messages that might have came in amomg others, i opened my personal data disk and stumbled on this note written by a close friend of mine, which goes like this:

"…I like unexplainable things because they necessitate me to search for something deeper. A painting cannot be explained, nor friendship nor poetry nor life nor sunset nor love. I have been in love and I can’t even explain its inexplicability."

My, what a phrase! I believe in this. And whether we like it or not, things would continue to be inexplicable no matter how we try to disect it in our imagination.

No wonder i spent too much time wondering how a deep friendship went sour and  still don’t see any explanation from anywhere. Friendship is one of the inexplicable substance in this great wide world!

Thanks to you my dear friend, now i rest my case.

Closing Cycles, by Paolo Coelho

Saturday, July 8th, 2006

Here is a very interesting topic worth given a thought or two. I found it in the web while i was thinking of the phrase: “closing relationship“. My! Mr. Coelho surely hit me right in my apex! But i’m trully thankful. Allow me to share it with you today, and may i qoute:

” One always has to know when a stage comes to an end. If we insist on staying longer than the necessary time, we lose the happiness and the meaning of the other stages we have to go through. Closing cycles, shutting doors, ending chapters – whatever name we give it, what matters is to leave in the past the moments of life that have finished.

Did you lose your job? Had a loving relationship come to an end? Did you leave your parents’ house? Gone to live abroad? Had a long-lasting friendship end all of a sudden? You can spend a long time wondering why this has happened. You can tell yourself you won’t take another step until you find out why certain things that were so important and so solid in your life have turned into dust, just like that. But such an attitude will be awfully stressing for everyone involved: your parents, your h usband or wife, your friends, your children, your sister, everyone will be finishing chapters, turning over new leaves, getting on with life, and they will all feel bad seeing you at a standstill. None of us can be in the present and the past at the same time, not even when we try to understand the things that happen to us. What has passed will not return: we cannot forever be children, late adolescents, sons that feel guilt or rancor towards our parents,lovers who day and night relive an affair with someone who has gone away and has not the least intention of coming back. Things pass, and the best we can do is to let them really go away.

That is why it is so important (however painful it may be!) to destroy souvenirs, move, give lots of things away to orphanages, sell or donate the books you have at home. Everything in this visible world is a manifestation of the invisible world, of what is going on in our hearts – and getting rid of certain memories also means making some room for other memories to take their place. Let things go. Release them. Detach yourself from them. Nobody plays this life with marked cards, so sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. Do not expect anything in return, do not expect your efforts to be appreciated, your genius to be discovered, your love to be understood. Stop turning on your emotional television to watch the same program over and over again, the one that shows how much you suffered from a certain loss: that is only poisoning you, nothing else.

Nothing is more dangerous than not accepting love relationships that are broken off, work that is promised but there is no starting date, decisions that are always put off waiting for the “ideal moment.”

Before a new chapter is begun, the old one has to be finished: tell yourself that what has passed will never come back. Remember that there was a time when you could live without that thing or that person – nothing is irreplaceable, a habit is not a need. This may sound so obvious, it may even be difficult, but it is very important.

Closing cycles. Not because of pride,incapacity or arrogance, but simply because that no longer fits your life. Shut the door, change the record, clean the house, shake off the dust.

Stop being who you were, and change into who you are.”

BoygirlKaron, sama sa gihapon

Nakatagamtam sa kahupayan sa pagbati

Mao nga gipangutana  nako ang akong kaugalingon ngano?

Tungod ba kini

Kay tag-as akong mga grado?

O dili ba  hino-un tungod

Kay nakakita ko sa pinaka bag-o nga salida ?

O kaha tungod kay

Nakapalit ko ug mga nindot nga butang?

Dili diay!

Nahibalo-an ko nga malipayon ako

Dili tungod sa daghang mga hinong-dan

Apan tungod diay sa usa ka hinungdan

Ug pinaka importante sa tanan!

Malipayon ako tungod kay…

Nahimamat mo ako

Ug nahimamat ko usab ikaw

Oo, manag higala-ay na kitang duha!

A LOT TO THINK ABOUT

1. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won’t
    make you cry.

    2. Just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to,
    doesn’t
    mean they  don’t love you with all they have.

    3. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your
    heart.

    4. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them
    knowing you can’t  have them.

    5. Never  frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is
    falling in love with  your smile.

    6. To the world you  may be one person, but to one person you may be the
    world.

    7. Don’t  waste your time on a man/woman, who isn’t willing to waste
    their
    time on  you.

8. Maybe  God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the
    right
    one, so that  when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be
    grateful.
    9. Don’t  cry because it is over, smile because it happened.

    10.  There’s always going to be people that hurt you so what you
    have to do
    is keep  on trusting and just be more careful about who you

trust
    next time
    around.

    11. Make  yourself a better person and know who you are before you
    try and
    know someone  else and expect them to know you.

    12. Don’t try so hard, the best things come when you least expect
    them to.

    13. Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll still land among the
    stars.

14.Never be afraid to  try something new. Remember, amateurs built
    the ark;
    professionals built the  Titanic!

    15. When you were born, everyone around you was smiling and you were
    crying. Live your life so that when you die, you’re smiling and everyone
    around you is crying

    REMEMBER: WHATEVER HAPPENS HAPPENS FOR A REASON.

Why do I love YOU?

Thursday, July 6th, 2006

Well, let me see…
I think i love you because:

…you taught me lots of things
which i didn’t know then;

…you smiled at me
like you never have smiled anyone else;

…you gave me hopes and dreams
that a better tommorow exists;

..you shared with me little what-nots
‘though they aren’t
as lovely as you want them to be;

…you greeted me "Happy Birthday"
‘though it was not;

…you held my hand
quite firmly but gently;

…you made me feel loved
as if love was all that mattered;

…you sang me songs
which lulled my heart up high;

…you brought me to places
which meant a lifetime-achivement to me;

…you played the guitar
so elegantly
and melted me slowly but softly;

Oh, i can go on like this forever!
but most of all, i love you because:

You spoke in sweet voice
and uttered words in amazing ENGLISH!

Yeah! that’s it! that’s why

i… love… YOU!

How to stay young

Wednesday, July 5th, 2006

Fairy     1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This include age, weight and height.  Let the doctors worry about them.  That is why you pay "them ".

2.   Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. "An idle mind is the devil’s workshop." And! the devil’s name is Alzheimer’s.

4.   Enjoy the simple things.

5.   Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

6.   The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love! Whether it’s family, pets,keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable,improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9        Don’t take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

(This was e-mailed to me and i’m glad to share it with you).

Like him or… Love him

Betlikes_3 In front of the person you love, your heart beats faster

But in front of the person you like, you get happy

………………………………………………

In front of the person you love, winter seems like spring

But in front of the person you like, winter is just a beautiful winter

………………………………………………

If you look into the eyes of the one you love, you blush

But if you look into the eyes of the one you like, you smile

………………………………………………

In front of the person you love, you can’ t say everything on your mind

But in front of the person you like, you can

………………………………………

In front of the person you love, you tend to get shy

But in front of the person you like, you can show your own self

………………………………………

Then the person you love comes into your mind every 2 minutes

………………………………………

You can’t look straight into the eyes of the one you love

But you can always smile into the eyes of the one you like

………………………………………

When the one you love is crying, you cry with them

But when the one you like is crying, you end up comforting

………………………………………

The feeling of love starts from the eye

And the feeling of like starts from the ear

………………………………………

So if you stop liking a person you used to like

All you need to do is cover your ears

………………………………………

But if you try to close your eyes

Love turns into a drop of tear and remains in your heart forever after
