Tennis! My kind of game!

April 5th, 2008 by c-razy

Tennis, the best game ever! This has been my kind
of game since i got married. You see, back in my teen years, i was an
athlete, a softball player, a 100-meter dash sprinter, a table tennis
smasher, and what-have-you!

Then i married at an early age of 20, bore our first baby girl and walah, i discovered tennis to be my new hobby!

And since then, i got married to tennis too ha ha ha!

LOVE.. and be loved

February 12th, 2008 by c-razy

ValentineThe sweetest emotion of it all is to… Love! Be in harmony with someone dear to you, let’s fall in love and be loved!This would be my new passion. I’ve decided to get involved with the someone dearest to me, who:
1.  loves me in return;
2. keep me closer to his heart;
3. keep me warm, day in and day out;
4. gives me strength when i get weak at times;
5. comforts me with his tender true feeling;
6. allows my inner self to be put to test but always there for me when things get rough
7. sets my mood just about right;
8. trully cares for me ;
9. is always there for me no matter what;
10. smiles to me though i have tantrums every so often.

In other words, one who i love as much as he does!

spectacular SPECTACLES!

October 31st, 2007 by c-razy

Abcd0018Hi! Remember how it feels to see the smallest word in the newspaper dailies with ease? Can you still recognize each letter under the classified ads section? And remember the time in Carcar area where the famous dancing sun used to be a phenomenon? Oh well, they were too obvious and clear and simply- visible!

Perhaps by now you are wondering what i’m talking about. I’m simply tracking down my 20-20 eyesight of yesterday. You see, my vision is on the verge of acquiring astigmatism if not blindness!Oh God forbid! Consider it simply-Blurriness.

So, i tried to look for remedies. And guess what? Yeah yeah, i know you know (silly me). Of course, the ever so powerful…. Charaaaan!: lens! (ok, take a bow). Ah yes, these tools for low visibility eyesight surely changed my point-of-view, literally! And I mean: to the last sense of the phrase! Oh YEAH! So here they are, all lined up for MY convenience.

Abcd0001One here has a clear, very clear and ever so clear, glass with a semi-clear casing. It gives me so much comfort while wearing it. Almost its entire body is clear, except for the immaculate white frame with a touch of clear poly- carbonate plastic (is it the right name?) whatever. It is my fave. In fact, i‘m saving it for my travel needs. It gets me to see more vividly places I never wondered I could ever set foot on in reality; ka drama bah!. The rest has its own story, which I’m not at liberty to say here, sorry.

But mind you, these eyewears are my partners… whether in public or privately. But h ey! Who says … ahh, never mind. My point is: I’m deeply attached to them day in and day out. They surely give me pleasure every time I read… and write… and blog… and text… and research… and ride… and… what-have-you!

They are not just shades, each has its set of lens, which caters to my own level of clearness capability. They are prescription eye shades! Cool huh? Wanna try them on?  Just take your pick ;-)

Hey, didn’t you wonder how i managed to write this when they are all displayed here?  I’m wearing one more set: my everyday  reading glasses and add it up here, that should complete my collection.

tres decadas

Bet_threedecades3 Time eases pain, it even erases memories. It allows us to forget bad events. It also allows us to remember good ones. Time is powerful in a way. It is forceful in some ways too.

It is truly amazing, how it heals wounds and open up secrets long buried under the realm of imagination. Time is great! It is a gift, a phenomenon, a way of being. Something which can be sensed, longed for, awaited to, let go of, etc. The list is endless.

How fast time flies too! It has been thirty years now since my early college years, and I can still feel the smiles we had when we had our Founder’s Day. A pageant was held then and I was one of the contestants. Oh boy, it was fun! I garnered three awards, one for Miss Friendship another for First runner- up and one special award for Best in Uniform . Ah! those were great moments!

After three decades, I’m still the same person, but better. I’m still the same girl but more mature. I still carry the same sentiments but stronger. I still cry over sad movies and smiles over cartoons. I am what I was then but nimbler, smarter and more provocative.

Ah yes, because, I am a Filipina! (shhhh, gikan pa ni sa kaban, he he he)

A friend and a chum

October 26th, 2007 by c-razy

Bet_eyeglass_bluetoothThings, ideas, games, places, people come into  our lives every so often. Some just fly by as fast as they came; while others stay and remain within reach.

Like the toys we had when we were little children. They were meant to be in the past, though kept in the closet. Like the baby dolls and the petite racer cars still intact inside their own cute little boxes.

Like my friends in my early college days. They too are in the past… my past; but they aren’t forgotten, in fact, i cherish them as dearly as my new acquaintances. They came but they aren’t trully gone, they are just around the bend. And we still are as close as the first time we knew each other.

Old chums came and left. New pals, old friends, same thing, they get lost and fade away. But what’s the real score? They are just beyond our dreams. Or, we are inside theirs. Whichever it may be, we are all connected in some ways. Still… a friend and a chum.

Like these two dependable items here. My eyeglasses has been with me since i can’t remember when, and this bluetooth device is quite new. I dont use much the device as of now so its kept in my drawer. But the eyeglass, ah yes, it’s with me throughout the day. They are both special although one isn’t as important as the other.

My chum… my friend.

Contemplation…

September 24th, 2007 by c-razy

My gaze soared

seeing the wonders

i once thought would go by

My moment came…

or was it?

Realizing my dreams wasn’t easy

I quickly ran out of thoughts

as if life is so short yet, i live!

Ah, yes! I’m here.

Weren’t you too ?

You were always a part of me

teenny bits of me

engulfing around you.

You are always by me

caring for me

loving me.

And…

I love you more!

Back to school!

August 13th, 2007 by c-razy

Mousepad I’m back! Back to where my passion is…back to where my heart belongs…back to being a student again!

Indeed! And i feel great! to be back in school this year, enrolled @ University of San Carlos (USC)- Talamban campus – College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA)- Graduate studies, taking up  my second masters (‘coz I recently graduated Master in History last March of this year), and this time it is: Master in Architecture major in URBAN DESIGN! Isn’t that great?

Sure enough, though I just finished one graduate study in the field of Arts and Sciences, today, I’m trying to improve more on my field of design- as an architect, for the simple reason of enhancing what I’ve learned! Whether  it is an acceptable reason or not, who cares? I don’t!  As long as I feel good in this undertaking, I’m happy! And that’s what matters. Am I right? Or I am right?

Oh yeah!

Opps! I’d better work on my assignments now  coz i remembered i have a couple already. ‘Got to go for now. See you in the library, ciao!

Part 1-SINGAPORE

Traveling is my fancy. It allows me to explore deeper meanings of life. It always makes me a better person every time i come back home, after a while in another place.

Bet_sir_rafflesThis time i headed down south of the globe to one of Britain’s former colony- SINGAPORE! It was an awesome experience to be there in that petite but very progressive country. I cannot believe my eyes when i realized i was really stepping on that very spot where an English Gentleman-rather businessman - Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles- once stopped by the port to trade on 1818!

The word SINGAPORE actually came from two words: "Singa"- which means Lion and Pura- meaning city in Sanskrit. You can find more pictures in my album here, but i seed to download more later. (You can click on the picture to see a larger view.)

———————————————————————————

Part 2 -MALAYSIA

Before our best days in Singapore ended, we thought of hopping in to the next country north. And amazingly enough, we really did! We stepped foot on our forefathers’ land (history told we are their offsprings) - We hit southernmost part  of Malaysia. We did some touring around the mall, which reminded me of a department store in Colon street sometime in the late ’80’s. Anyway, we had fun! We ate @ Kenny Rogers- Malaysian Edition. We had our share of smiles and laughs and shopping and what-have-you! Oh, let me tell you that if you want to go to the jan(c.r.) it would cost you RM.20 (MYR- Malaysian Ringgit) multiply it with P15 Philippine money and that’s a cool P3.00 here. Ain’t it okay huh.

By the way, we went there through a mere taxi ride! Oh yes! We didn’t bring any luggage because we were not planning on staying overnight. So we rode on to the connecting bridge where the Malaysian Immigration Department is located. So we had our passports ready including the air tickets and stopped where a cute little booth stood, and rolled down the windows of the car as the Immigration Officer looked upon us with set of inquisitive eyes ogled @ us so profusely. We felt a little scared but that was nothing compared to the going back moments to Singapore ! Because, after our shopping spree and strolls and the jan thing, we headed back to the taxi station. There were taxi cars but no taxi drivers! Can you believe that? Plus there was this mature individaul who looked like the one of the wanted arabs in the middle east, complete with the turban in his huge head and long gray beard hanging down from his chin, who wanted to get near us to share with the taxi.

Phew! That was fun alright!
